For owners of the 701’s, please follow the markings on the cylinder head, not the cylinder. The head gasket has to match the head; the cylinder markings don’t matter with regard to choosing the right head gasket.
There are 3 different heads compatible with the 701 bore sizing,
- 61X-00
- 64U-00
- 62T-
The gasket must match the head markings, not the cylinder! Failure to do so can cause overheating and gasket failure!
