This is an OEM-style Yamaha Fuel Filter that also doubles as a water separator when sitting upright.
We recommend these on any ski that is being used for freestyle or racing, where minor water may get into your tank.
*These are the Yamaha 1200 Style, which is a slight upgrade to the regular SuperJet Style, which means this is 5/16" vs 1/4". We use them all the time on a 1/4" fuel line. Worst case, heat the tip of the fuel line to stretch it over the barb.
