Being engine tuners, we found the need to create a product to simplify Carburetor Tuning. Jetworks E-Z Tune Carb Screws allow easy, tool-free hand tuning of the fuel mixture. These screws are longer for easier access and allow tuning on models that come with capped adjusters. A must-have if you are installing an exhaust system or are modifying the carburetors. ATTENTION YAMAHA TWIN 38 CARB USERS!
There are multiple versions of the 38 carburetors that Mikuni made for Yamaha. We no longer list this by model, as Yamaha didn’t have a clean-cut year of when they used one type, and many second-hand skis have had engine swaps from different models.
Instead, you need to check the thread pitch on your carbs to know what Jetworks E-Z Tune Screw you need.
- If your Low Speed & High Speed screws have matching thread pitches, then you need Part#’s JW-SA-500 & JW-SA-800
- If your Low Speed & High Speed screws have different thread pitches, then you need Part#’s JW-SA-700 & JW-SA-800
- If your carburetors came with a tamper-resistant plug and recessed screws, then you need Part#’s JW-SA-700 & JW-SA-800
