The 2025 Original Rickter® EDGE has proven to be a go-to option for freeride/surf-riding hull on the market. Built with high-grade fiber and 100% epoxy resin using a high-tech infusion process, and a fit and finish that only some hope to compare to, the Rickter® EDGE meets the highest standards of durability and performance to withstand the toughest conditions.
Jetworks Opinion:
- This hull is optimized for surf riding; while you can certainly use it in a lake or river setting, it's optimized for surf riding and performing aerial tricks off of ocean waves. These hulls are typically paired with "moderate power", maybe a 701cc - 950cc, heavily influenced by the size of the waves you ride.
- If you are looking at back flip off of your own wake (typically done in lake and river settings), the Rickter Product for you is either the XFS or the Ninja Hulls. These hulls are typically paired with "Big Power", typically 950cc-1200cc, and a small fuel tank, not designed for traveling much, if any, real distance.
- If you are looking for a high-speed, buoy carving machine (perfect for all-around fun and cross-training), we recommend building a Kawasaki SX-R or Yamaha SuperJet in either the 2-Stroke or 4-Stroke configuration

STANDARD FEATURES
This is just the bare hull with the above included parts; this is not a ready-to-ride ski.
You can transfer your existing 1990-2020 Yamaha SuperJet Drive Train into these hulls (2008-2020 require a different driveshaft)
Or have us build you one from the ground up. Pricing is roughly $25,000 ~ $38,000 for a complete Rickter Edge ski, depending on your power demands and configuration.
Please plan ahead of time, as these hulls are special orders. Typically, the US Warehouse may have some stock, but if not, it can sometimes require over half a year to get your desired configuration.
As far as building one, it can take as short as 3 weeks and up to 4 months, depending on the level of the engine and parts required to be sourced.
